Where to begin? I have always been more comfortable with animals than people. Animals have no ulterior motives, they do not lie and are simply what they are. I understand animal behavior and always have.

I attended a year of college for Animal Science and worked as a small animal Veterinary Technician. I have learned dog training, attended a 4-H horse club as a child, worked as a trail guide and own (and train) my own horses, a dog and cats.

I am a voracious reader and am on a constant search for knowledge. I am one of those strange and alien beings who enjoy textbooks (GASP!) and research.

I also write. Less now than I used to but I want to change that. I used to make daily entries in my journal as well as writing short stories and poetry.
